day 3 in nyc: christmas eve at central park, a visit to the lincoln centre, and a christmas service
24 Dec 2005:
1) Coldstones Ice-Cream

Cheesecake fantasy. VERY FUCKING GOOD heesecake ice-cream mixed in with crunchy graham cracker bits and fresh ripe strawberries and blue berries. YUMMY.

And me with tt delicious piece of heaven. :)
2) Central Park

The view of uptown Manhattan from across the Jackie Onassis Reservoir as the evening sun strikes the water.

And another such photo from another angle.

Lionel, SY and I with the reservoir and uptown Manhattan as our background.
3) The Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts

This is how the Lincoln Centre, where the performing arts like the New York Ballet and the Orchestra perform. The building is so big tt it's difficult to capture the whole magnificence of it.

This is the Christmas tree tt they set up by the fountain.

And me in front of the Lincoln Centre! :)
4) Christmas Eve at the NY First Presbyterian Church on 5th Avenue

This is the Christmas Tree at Washington Square Park. We had to pass through the park to get to church and back. Drug dealers try to sell you weed (and more stuff. I suppose all you have to do is ask), even on Christmas Eve. I guess everyone's gotta work, no matter what day of the year it is. On our way back from church when we were offered, we wished them Merry Christmas.

And this is me and Eunice at the Christmas service at the church, with her passing the fire from her lit candle to me.
